TheHood's standoff with Christie

US DOT capo Ray LaHood continues to threaten to blow New Jersey's metaphoric brains out over the canceled tunnel, reports the Associated Press.
The U.S. Transportation Department has granted New Jersey an extension of a little more than two weeks on the $271 million it owes for a scrapped rail tunnel project.
The extension was granted in a letter dated Monday to lawyers for the law firm New Jersey Transit hired to fight the debt. The Associated Press obtained the letter today.
